Scripps-Howard Spelling Bee:
- Congratulations to Brevin F. who represented Holy Spirit School on Wednesday, February 9th at the Scripps-Howard Spelling Bee sponsored by the Times Union newspaper and Hannaford Foods. Brevin tied for 15th place among the 100 students who began the competition. The winner of the spelling bee moves on to the National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C.

Sue Voellm receives the "Elizabeth Seton Distinguished Teacher Award":

On November 23rd, Sue Voellm was honored with the "Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Distinguished Teacher Award". This award honors a Catholic teacher who has promoted Catholic education and who has a strong awareness of a school’s Catholic identity and mission.
