PROGRAM GOALS

The goal of the library program at Holy Spirit School is to create enthusiastic readers and lifelong learners. The program promotes the value of reading, library citizenship, literature appreciation and develops library skills.

In the Holy Spirit School Library we strive to employ a wide variety of teaching techniques, instructional materials, and learning programs to teach information and technology skills. Our goal is to make learning and reading positive experiences so that we protect the dignity of each child and encourage each student's potential for growth. The Holy Spirit School library media specialist works together with students, teachers, administrators, School Board members, Library Committee and the school
